Golden Summer Sunset Shoot for Destination I Do Magazine

Our California shoot was inspired by the beginning and end of each day. The colors of this shoot are meant to be symbolic of the sunrise, sunset and the sky’s natural ombre. Triunfo Creek Vineyards was the perfect backdrop for this golden summer wedding inspiration shoot. Watercolor stationery tied in the ombre theme along with a matching cake and cake pops. The shoot was featured in an 8-page spread and cover of Destination I Do magazine. The florals seen in the bride’s and bridesmaids’ bouquets are striking and the colors really emulate the sunset vibe we were going for. The luminous white wedding dress stands out against the bridal bouquet and the lace shoulders on the dress add modern texture to an otherwise simple gown. The bridesmaids’ dresses exhibit different shades of pinks to further emphasize the sunrise and sunset. Seen in the ceremony, the gazebo trellis is beautifully covered with stunning pink and red flowers, similar to that of the floral bouquets. Our floral designer used bougainvillea to create a gorgeous summer feel! The wonderful scenery of the vineyard is alluring, which is seen in both of the backgrounds of the ceremony and reception. The wedding stationery is exquisite with dark blue envelopes that inside display beautifully vibrant flowers, containing many colors seen in sunrises and sunsets. The reception cakes display deep yellows and oranges, further tying together the overall theme of the wedding. The tablescape was filled with red, pink, orange, and yellow blooms, all tied together with greenery. For tabletop rentals, a combination of red and amber glassware was the perfect touch. This was such a beautiful photo shoot to have been a part of and we felt like it was perfect for the summer issue of the magazine!
