JW Marriott Desert Ridge Venue Showcase
We had the opportunity to bring together some of the top wedding and event vendors in Phoenix to showcase a brand new, private waterfront space at the iconic JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa — and we couldn’t wait to show off this hidden gem for intimate weddings and events!
To kick off this dreamy desert celebration, we gathered on Sky Island, Marriott’s newest event space, which offers a secluded setting with sweeping views of the resort’s beautiful water features. Inspired by the surrounding desert landscape, the design team reimagined a modern take on an earthy color palette — think cactus greens, soft sands, and clay tones — brought to life through chic monochromatic lounges and a ceremony space covered in lush florals, designed by The Wild Flowers AZ, to blend beautifully with the natural surroundings.
Guests were welcomed into a stunning al fresco ceremony space before heading over to a picture-perfect cocktail hour. Our design partners crafted cozy lounge vignettes featuring textured neutrals and organic elements from Epic Party Team’s stunning collection. The tablescape was a showstopper from The Confetti Studio, it featured menus printed on linen napkins, hand-calligraphed place cards, and pearl-studded pears for a whimsical touch.
As the sun set over the desert, guests gathered for an intimate dinner under the stars. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to inspire couples looking to host a celebration that’s as refined as it is personal. From the lush floral installations to the Instagram-worthy design moments, this event was the perfect way to introduce Marriott’s latest venue addition to couples and planners alike.
