Pressed Floral-Inspired Shoot For Destination I Do Magazine

For the Spring/Summer issue of Destination I Do magazine, we produced a pressed floral-inspired shoot at a gorgeous private venue in Santa Barbara, CA. We went for a romantic palette of pinks and pastels, and used rich velvet textures to add a layer of luxury to the entire shoot. The stationery tied in the theme by using dried floral buds as design details on each piece. For the lounge, we pulled a dreamy pink velvet couch and used white chairs and gold details to create a chic seating arrangement for cocktail hour. The flowers (obviously) were definitely one of our favorite parts of this shoot! From the incredible ceremony arch to the downright dreamy bridal bouquet, there was no shortage of beautiful blooms. For the place settings, we went with floral-shaped plates and blush details. The dusty pink velvet chairs tied the entire table together! When it came to fashion, we knew we wanted to mix romantic colors and patterns to create a mismatched feel. We couldn’t be more happy with how everything looked together day-of! We even tied in the velvet with a gorgeous deep-V velvet bridesmaid gown. Finally – The desserts! A pressed floral cake was the most outright interpretation of the theme, and we loved it so much. We also had the prettiest pressed floral ice cream sandwiches and donuts for a truly decked out dessert table.
