Tropical Summer Wedding Inspiration Shoot for Rue Magazine

This tropical summer wedding for Rue Magazine was inspired by a citrus color palette, touches of tropical-inspired details, and delicious summer food! The ceremony took place under an arch of bougainvillea, which also trailed along the rustic chairs for a time-stopping effect. The bright pinks gave the shoot such a pretty summer feel. On top of a pink patterned rug stood a solid wood table set with wicker placemats, simple white plates, and gold flatware. Amidst an airy, light pink table runner sat one of our most unique bouquet centerpieces. Bright bougainvillea and bold leaves were highlighted by fluffy light roses, pops of white and yellow, and even grapefruit for a citrus accent! We’re still not over this centerpiece – it will forever be one of our favorites! We also loved the water colored menus that complimented the candles and the color scheme of the shoot. The bride and groom stole the show, however, boldly contrasting the tropical colors with an embroidered white gown and classic black suit. Even the bride’s hair was unique, with braids crowning her head and a bright red flower to finish her look. Surrounded by birds of paradise and greenery, this wedding shoot had us feeling a tropical breeze! It was such a fun one to work on, and we loved seeing the images featured on Rue Magazine.
