Coconut Tablescape For California Wedding Day Magazine

California Wedding Day asked us to produce a fruit-inspired tablescape for a two-page spread in the summer issue of the magazine. We were inspired by coconuts – The neutral wood exterior and bright white interior – And used that to create this gorgeous modern coconut wedding tablescape. With pops of tropical elements and real coconuts scattered on the table, this is one of our favorite shoots to date! Inspired by coconuts and palm trees, the color palette that we incorporated into this fabulous tablescape consisted of whites, gold, and lush greens. The rich green tones seen in the greenery were vibrant against the off-white tablecloth – This created a textured look to the overall concept of the photo shoot! The classic translucent glasses placed next to wood dishware and gold utensils added to the overall modern feel of the design. The wooden chargers topped with white plates were another design element that was inspired by a cracked coconut. The real coconuts placed alongside white candles created a glowing, opulent feeling and kept the shoot on-theme and from feeling too “perfect.” We were delighted by the two-tiered cake’s classic and elegant look, which consisted of multiple different textures and real coconuts. Finally, the stationery suite combined natural textures, whites, and greens that tied the enter look together. The combination of striking whites, glowing gold colors, and greenery created a rich and cheerful feel, which is why we knew this coconut wedding photo shoot would be perfect for the magazine’s summer issue!
