Tropical Malibu Wedding Shoot for Destination I Do Magazine

Destination I Do magazine commissioned us to produce this tropical wedding shoot in Malibu for a 6-page spread and cover of the magazine. The inspiration was modern tropical with bright pops of color and pattern mixing. Standout elements included the protea bouquet, sleek cutout wedding gown, and secluded private Malibu venue. This was such a fun shoot to be a part of – The bright colors truly engulfed us into this magical tropical wedding. The light blue couch and table plates tied in the colors of the ocean seen off into the horizon; the gorgeous peach-colored protea bouquets wonderfully tied together with the overall tropical theme that this shoot was looking for – the flowers were absolutely stunning! The bride’s white wedding dress flowed beautifully in the wind and the bridesmaids’ black dresses were gorgeous contrasts against the light, bright colors seen throughout the rest of the tropical wedding decor. For the ceremony, the gazebo trellis was placed alongside the beautiful Malibu ocean cliffs, which further exemplified breathtaking coastal views. For the reception, the protea and floral bouquets dazzled as the main centerpieces of the tablescape. From the many designs and patterns seen on the tablecloth to the wonderful textures that the flowers, tabletop rentals, and fashion brought out, this photo shoot was a magnificent representation of a beautifully themed tropical wedding.
